Terms of use
Version 2026-08-02.2
These terms are the agreement between you and Nexxo. They explain what this platform is, what you can do inside it, what we do with what you post, and what happens when something goes wrong. The community rules, the privacy policy and the subscription and billing policy are part of them.
What Nexxo is
Nexxo is a private community of Hispanic entrepreneurs in the United States. Inside there is a space to post, groups, a business directory with catalogs, an events calendar, courses, podcasts, job openings and messaging. Access requires an approved account: nothing posted inside is visible without one.
Nexxo puts people in touch and gives them tools. It is not a party to the deals closed in here, and does not guarantee them. What that means in each case is set out in the sections below.
Your account
To get in you sign up, choose a plan and complete your details. The information you provide must be true and kept up to date: this network is only useful if the people inside are who they say they are.
Your account is personal and non-transferable, and you are responsible for what is done with it. If you think someone else has access, change your password and let us know. You can sign in with your email or with your Google account; in the second case, Google gives us your name, your email and your photo, and nothing else.
A request may be held for review before it gets in. We can turn it down without having to detail the reason, and in that case nothing is charged.
Membership and payments
Today the entry plan, Select, is free. The Prime and Elite plans are announced with their price, but they are not on sale yet. When they are, their fee will be charged for the term you choose, monthly or yearly, and will renew until you cancel.
What is charged today is event tickets and coin top-ups. Payment happens on a page hosted by Stripe: your card details never pass through our servers.
The full conditions are in the subscription and billing policy: automatic renewal, failed payments, refunds, price changes, taxes and promotions.
Coins
Coins are a contribution to Nexxo's development that is also useful inside the community: you top them up with a card and spend them on event bookings and on stickers during live streams. One hundred coins equal one dollar.
They are not money: they cannot be withdrawn, transferred to another person or refunded. What you top up is spent inside or not at all. If your account closes, any remaining coins are lost.
Your business and the directory
You can open your business profile, publish your catalog, your hours, your locations and your coupons, and add your team. The profile appears in the directory, under its category, and can receive reviews.
For the verified business badge we ask for an identity document and proof that the company exists. A person reviews them. We verify that the business exists and that whoever runs it is who they say they are; we do not verify the quality of what it sells. If it is rejected, you can try again after twenty-four hours.
Catalog orders
When you order something from a business's catalog, that order reaches the business and the sale is closed directly between the two of you, through the channel it has set up. Nexxo does not charge for those orders and is not a party to that purchase: price, availability, shipping, invoicing, warranty and returns are the selling business's responsibility. If something goes wrong with an order, you claim from whoever sold it to you.
Events
Events are published by whoever organizes them, with their date, place and capacity, and seats are booked here, free, by card or with coins. The organizer is responsible for the event: that it happens, that it is what was announced, and what happens if it is cancelled. Nexxo handles the booking and the payment, not the event.
Groups
Any member can create a group, public or private, with its own rules. Joining means accepting those rules, and whoever created it decides who gets in: by invitation, by request, or open. Each group has its own chat, with a cap of one thousand people.
Whoever runs a group can remove posts, remove members and ban them within it. A group's rules add to the community rules, they never replace them: they cannot allow what is forbidden here.
What is written in a group stays in the group. The platform's search does not show it, and its text is not sent to the search index either.
Courses, podcasts and jobs
Courses and podcasts are published by whoever creates them, who is responsible for having the rights to what they upload. If you connect a YouTube channel to import episodes, you authorize us to read your channels, your playlists and your videos for that, and only for that; the permission is stored encrypted and you can withdraw it whenever you want, here or from your Google account.
In job openings, the business is the publisher and the applicant sends their name, their contact details and, if they want, their résumé. That résumé is only visible to whoever is hiring and to whoever sent it. Nexxo takes no part in the hiring and is not responsible for it.
Reviews
A review must be your real experience with that business. Reviews in exchange for anything are not allowed, nor reviews written by the business itself or by its competitors. We remove those that break this or the community rules.
Live streams and messages
Live streams are public within the community and the same rules apply to them as to everything else. We can cut one that breaks them.
Private messages are between the people in the conversation. We do not read them to do anything with them, and their text is not sent to the search index. You can delete yours. If we receive a report or an order from an authority, we may have to access what was reported.
What you post stays yours
What you upload is yours. By posting it you authorize us to store it, show it, resize it and crop it as needed to display it inside the platform, and nothing else: we do not sell it, we do not license it for advertising and we do not use it outside here.
You are responsible for having the right to post what you post, including the photos, videos and music they carry. When you delete something it stops being visible; it may take time to disappear from backups.
What you cannot do here
In addition to the community rules: do not impersonate another person or business, do not post what is not yours, do not use the platform to defraud anyone, do not collect other members' data (by hand or with software), do not try to get around technical limits or reach what is not meant for you, and do not resell or share your access.
Moderation and suspension
We can remove content and suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the rules, that provides false information, or that uses the platform to harm other members. When the reason is serious or urgent, without prior notice.
A suspended account keeps its data but does not see the community. If you think it was a mistake, write to us: a person reviews it.
The service can change
Nexxo is a living product: features are added, changed and sometimes retired. We can change or discontinue any part of the platform, and do so without notice when the cause is technical or a matter of security. If a change affects what your paid plan includes, we give reasonable notice.
We also do not promise that everything works without interruption: we depend on third-party services and sometimes they go down.
What we do not guarantee
Nexxo puts entrepreneurs in touch; it does not take part in the deals they close nor answer for their outcome. We are not responsible for what another member posts, for what a business in the directory sells, for how an event turns out, or for a hire. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months.
Closing your account
You can leave whenever you want. Deleting your account removes your profile, your posts and your business; any remaining coins are lost and fees already paid are not refunded. How to ask for it is in the privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change substantively, their version goes up and you are asked to accept it before continuing to use the platform. Which version you accepted, and when, is kept on record.
Contact
For any question about these terms, write to us from contact or from inside the platform.
